About

Through the twists and turns that my life has taken, I've always been one thing: a creative. I've always focused on one art form or another - I studied music intensely as a young person, attended an art school, and started my career as a writer at a bustling ad agency before discovering my true craft: photographyAfter ten years of developing my skills while working in marketing, I finally took the leap and became a full-time freelancer.

Today, I do what I love and savor every. single. moment of it.

A little more about me?

Sometimes all it takes is a Masters Degree in Poli-sci, a whole lot of travel, a short but intense career as a copywriter and a creative photography class at St Lawrence College for your life to fall into place.

Just me?

I have two gorgeous kiddos. I play the violin.  My car is a mess. I'm a self-proclaimed chocoholic. I hate having my photo taken (shoot- did I just admit that!?)

Oh, and I have a deep, unshakable love for exploring the uniqueness and character that each person brings to this world.

My favourite part of my job? Making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and surprising them when they see how amazing they look.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO

I kind of fell into brand photography. I'm serious. After years of doing family photography and weddings, a friend asked if I'd take some pictures for her to use for her graphic design business (shout out to the talented Jaana Brett!) We did some fun portraits, captured her work space, and I was HOOKED.

Today, I have the pleasure of working with all kinds of entrepreneurs, from small mom-and-pop boutiques to industrial workshops to copywriters and therapists. The best thing about brand photography is that I get to take the time to connect with my clients and really understand their business and personality; often showing them a side of themselves that is unexpected and beautiful.
